Proton's Latest Iriz Hatchback. Could This Be Proton Come Back.
The national carmaker has revealed bits and pieces of the new Proton, dubbed the Iriz. Can it take on the popular Myvi? Malaysia carmaker Proton has revealed a little teaser for its upcoming car dubbed the Proton Iriz through their microsite.
According to popular car enthusiast website Paultan.org, the headlights in the car are said to be using halogen bulbs due to the yellow tinge of the light.
Besides that, the Iriz will be equipped with six airbags for the premium model. The picture also shows the positioning of the gear and the spacing between the back and front seats.
On the entertainment front, the Iriz is said to include built-in navigation maps, a touch screen for your media, and bluetooth
The Iriz is also equipped with a reverse camera with superimposed lines to guide the driver, to ensure that parking is a breeze
The Malaysia car maker is also including a keyless driving system for the premium models of the Iriz
One of the main attraction of the vehicle is the safety. It has achieved a 5-star rating on the ANCAP crash test.
The Proton Iriz is said to come in three variants and will be powered by a 1.3L or a 1.6L engine.
