More debris from the World Trade Center site is being searched to identify human remains from the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Some 60 truckloads of debris that have been collected from the site since 2010 will be sorted through starting on Monday on Staten Island.The process is expected to take about 10 weeks.
More than 2,750 people died at the World Trade Center in the 2001 terrorist attacks when hijackers flew two planes into the north and south towers.
New York City Deputy Mayor Cas Holloway said on Friday that DNA testing of the debris will continue in an attempt to make every possible identification. So far, 1,634 people have been identified.
The chief medical examiner's office is leading the search. Since 2006 it has identified 34 victims and 2,345 possible human remains of previously identified victims.
The One World Trade Center skyscraper is being built on the site where the Twin Towers stood.
Upon completion in early 2014 it will become New York's tallest building, at 1,776 feet (541 metres) tall.
