1. NOBODY cares anymore
Reading a status "Having dinner with so and so" or any kind of long status is a bit lame. Nobody gives a f*** of what you are thinking. Think about it, what is more appealing to you, reading a status or a picture that says it all. 2. It is impossible to stay "Private"
For many valid reasons (think about your ex-es, stalkers, ex-classmates that you hate) you just don't like your name came up in Facebook search box. With changes to privacy settings announced by Facebook in 2013, most users found that it is a bit of a problem. The only way to make sure that certain people can't access to your profile is by completely block them. Or better yet, just quit Facebook.

3. Your parent (or even grandparent) is on Facebook!
How many of you have your parent on Facebook? It seemed in 2013 is the year of moms, dads, grandmother or great aunt to get hooked on Facebook. Well, what it would meant to you? Every time you post something non offensive. These Facebook "amateurs" will start breathing your neck down the minute you hit "Post". You get enough scolding from them "in real life", you do not want them in your comment and be seen by your friends. or do you?

4. Or they post photos of you naked! (of course when you as a little kid)
What could go wrong in a day? No likes on Instagram from the photos you uploaded. No mentions on Twitter for your status. Then you check your Facebook and realizing that a horribly embarrassing photo posted by your mom getting more likes as long as some pretty serious mockery in the comment section.

5. Facebook makes you a negative person.
Your friend just uploaded a photo of his/her new smartphone that you always wanted. Your other friend just check in at some exotic island that you dream of. How do you feel when you seeing all those status. Jealous right? A recent study done by the Department of Behavioral Science at the Utah University shows that HEAVY Facebook user aren't the happiest people. They discovered that using Facebook makes you view your life in a negative way. Some of the report says "those spending more time on Facebook each week agreed more that others were happier and had better lives."

6. You only know and care 20 of your 1000 friend
You receive daily notifications of your friend birthday that you didn't even bother to wish them. And you thinking at the back of your mind "who are these people?". Are they some random people you just met at a bar or somewhere else and later exchange you Facebook. Probably. But do you even care about them. No. Well it is time for you to do a white list. Or it is time for you to realize that your Facebook is unmanageable.

7. The Ads just keep coming and coming
We are living in economic tough times. While some are trying to earn an honest side income. But spamming with all irrelevant ads in your timeline just annoyed you. Plus with the sponsored ad just adding the damage on Facebook experience. Facebook started testing these annoying ads out in December. They'll soon be coming to a newsfeed near you, automatically playing a video as you scroll through.
