Researcher from Cornell University had made some amazing discoveries mining data from 35M Flickr photos. Not only did the world's most photographed cities (and the most captured landmark in each) emerge, but also so did the most common angles for shooting each place. So what do the results say about us as travelers? Can you guest which landmarks are most photographed?

10. Sydney Opera House


No image of Australia is complete without a picture of its world-famous opera house, which was conceived and built by a Danish architect in 1973

9. Brooklyn Bridge New York

One of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States, which was completed in 1883, and spans the East River.

8. Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris

Another famous monument of the Paris skyline, and widely considered as one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture.

7. Taj Mahal, India 

The finest example of Mughal architecture, the Taj Mahal became a World Heritage Site in 1983.  India is growing as an accessible destination and the structure of the buildings and composition of the landscape is a godsend to photographers.

One of the most striking sections of the Ming Great Wall is where it climbs extremely steep slopes. It runs 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) long, ranges from 5 to 8 meters (16–26 ft) in height
