Mac and Cheese

Creamy Mac and Cheese

I love eating mac and cheese. Who doesnt? i need my fix of mac and cheese week in week out. Sounds a bit like an addiction huh?

Im gonna share a recipe that is simple and easy. I do it all the time during weekends. 

The Ingredients 

Salt 
Pasta
2 cans of evaporated milk (susu sejat lah)
Butter
Flour
Mustard
Grated parmesan cheese
Black Pepper
Grated Cheddar Cheese

The Instructions

Boils water in a large soup kettle. Add salt and pasta. Cook according to the package as a guide. Usually cook until al dente and drained. 


Put the milk in a skillet and let the milk hot and steamy (not boiling). Meanwhile, melt 3 table spoon of butter in a pasta pot. Add around 1/3 cup of flour along with the hot milk. Continue to whisk until it become thick and somewhat bubbly. It will takes around 3-4 minutes. Add in a spoon of mustard, half a cup of grated parmesan and black pepper. In slow heat, stir in cheddar cheese until its melted.

Lastly, add the pasta. Stir everything until evenly combined. If the sauce is too thick add some water. 

Serve hot and enjoy your home made mac and cheese. Easy.
