MH17 was The Lost MH370 Plane?

Was MH17 Actually The Lost MAS Plane MH370?

The disappearance and resulting media circus of MH370 back in March 2014 feeds easily into whatever chosen conspiracy theory you want to believe about MH17. But should you believe in this particularly viral theory that claims that the MH17 was actually the lost MH370?

Every international disaster, regardless of its importance, produces its own stream of conspiracy theories. While some may be silly and innocuous, others are far more dangerous and appalling.

The theory holds that MH17 and MH370 are actually the same plane and that the U.S. military arranged for the second flight, filled with corpses, to be blown up over eastern Ukraine.

Furthermore, as consensus builds in the U.S. that pro-Russian rebels are responsible for shooting down MH17, Russians are embracing a smorgasbord of alternate explanations. Like: Maybe it was actually part of an assassination plot. Maybe those bodies were planted.

The scale and vicious nature of the myths woven in Russia and outside about the destruction of MH17 are simply breathtaking. For never before have so many conspiracy stories been created in such a short period of time and in such a brazen, cynical way.

It further claims that the crashed MH17 wreckage had a different configuration of windows than the actual MH17.

It claims much, much more, and without any regard to the victims of both MAS tragedies. At the time of publishing this SAYS story, the conspiracy theory had been shared over 93K times on social media. So what is the truth behind it? How much of it is FACT or FAKE?

Boy Who Had Way Too Many Teeth

We all have teeth, (at least most of us do). But this kid, he had 232 teeth, which we can all agree is way too many teeth. Most of us dread going to the dentist for our six-month dental checkups (the curator of this story has not been to one since 2011). So imagine the horrors of a boy with swelling in his right jaw who found out that he had 232 tiny teeth growing in his jaw?

In a seven-hour-long operation in the Indian city of Bombay, dentists were able to take out the excess teeth that had been growing in 17-year-old Ashik Gavai's gums

During the surgery, they also found a rock-like formation inside the affected tooth, which had to be removed with a drill. Thankfully Gavai's jawbone structure was maintained during the operation so it should heal without deformities

The surgery, conducted on Monday, 21 July 2014, involved two surgeons and two assistants. Ashik now has 28 teeth.

BUK Missile Used to Down MH17

The surface-to-air missile (SAM) system suspected to have caused the crash of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH17 is most likely the Soviet-designed BUK, and not a shoulder-fired missile.

According to a CNN report quoting military analyst Rick Francona, the shoulder-fired missiles used by rebels and separatist groups could be ruled out as these weapons do not have the ability to reach 30,000 feet, the altitude at which MH17 was flying when all contact was lost with it on Thursday night
The former United States Air Force lieutenant colonel said that such man-portable missiles could at best only reach 15,000 feet.
"This would indicate a surface-to-air missile or an air-to-air missile, and I think a surface-to-air missile is probably the best guess right now," he said, adding that such SAM systems like the BUK would be in the arsenal of Russian forces on the other side of the Ukrainian border.
Francona said that the BUK would be more than capable of shooting down an aircraft travelling at 30,000 feet.
MH17 disappeared from radar screens in eastern Ukraine at around 1415 GMT, hours after the Boeing 777, bound for Kuala Lumpur, had taken off from Amsterdam's Schiphol airport.
The Boeing 777  is believed to have been accidentally shot down 50km from the Ukraine-Russia border.
The CNN report also quotes Retired Brigadier General  Kevin Ryan, director of the Defence and Intelligence Project at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University as saying that the BUK, known as the SA-11 to Nato forces is operated by both the Russian and Ukrainian military.
However, Ryan said it was unlikely that the missile was fired by pro-Russia separatists due to the sophistication of the BUK system.
"It takes a lot of training and a lot of coordination to fire one of these and hit something. This is not the kind of weapon a couple of guys are going to pull out of a garage and fire," he said, concluding that if MH17 was shot down, a professional military force was responsible.
Similar views were shared by IHS Janes Americas editor Dan Wasserbly, who said a BUK battery would consist of several vehicles – a command post vehicle, a radar vehicle, several self-propelled launchers, loader vehicles and even more vehicles to carry new missiles to the batteries as necessary.

Even the famous get acne

You’ve seen it before, and it was probably on a 90s sitcom: the dreaded zit on picture day! Nooooo! What to do? Guys, this picture is going to be in the yearbook forever – how will the captain of the footy team notice me now!

Take heart, young lusters and fantasizers: it’s going to happen, and it happens to everyone. With acne, you can only hope to contain it as against stopping it entirely. I wish all of us had access to a magic acne clearing tool that got rid of our zit in a second, but skin takes a small time to clear up. So perhaps it will help in the event you heard that there's plenty of celebrities who had skin issues as well:

- Katy Perry. In addition to a quantity of her favourite pastimes of kissing girls and liking it and living in teenage dreams, the former Mrs. Brand shills skincare products on infomercials now because they used to have a massive issue with acne. Of work they could hide under plenty of stage makeup, but still: when you have bad skin, you’ll lack confidence in even the most mundane of situations. Katy Perry is hot, gifted and famous – but they still hates going to picture shoots with bad skin.

- Ronald Reagan. Yes, the Gipper himself had a classic case of the pizza face when they was growing up and trying to break in to acting. Regrettably, they could only break out before auditions, nervous, young and stressing out. Fortunately for him, films were in black-and-white back then, so perhaps on camera they could pass them off as freckles. Somewhere along the line Reagan got his confidence and kept his New york icy with him all the way to the White House.

- Tom Brady. Speaking of New york icy, this bay-area native and penultimate Captain of the footy team is married to a model – now. Way back when, they was another quarterback struggling for playing time on a gifted college footy team. They walked not as tall back then, with smaller arms and pimples on his face. Being crammed in to a hot helmet every day didn’t help either. Now look at him: a 3-time Tremendous Bowl Champion and 2-time MVP with a stunning model for a spouse and talent that won’t cease.

John Wilkes Booth. This struggling actor struggled with plenty of issues in his life, including acne. Most known for taking a dreadful play and making it even worse, John Wilkes Booth stands as of the most infamous men in the history of the world and yet was of its most insecure. Booth’s skin issues kept him from having the confidence they needed to break in to Shakespearian greatness – or even the lead in local community theater. They let his acne get him down, and brought everyone else down with him.

- The Pope. Sometime after his Hitler Youth days, Pontiff Benedict XVI became a priest – who was no nice at giving sermons. Sure, they shined in the confessional booths, only because people couldn’t see him. They dispensed wise advice and lived the Catholic message, but had to overcome his fear of his bad skin to succeed and finally accede to the top of the Catholic Church.

No matter what walk of life you select or who you are, you can have skin issues. The best way to cease those issues is to stay confident, stay sane (I’m taking a look at you, J.W. Booth), and don’t stress out a lot. Your skin will get better, and even if it doesn’t, know that pop stars are feeling the same thing as you.
